I am a fully qualified art tutor and began working in Adult Education over 20 years ago for Leicestershire County Council. When a unit became available to rent by the canal, I decided this was just too much of a great opportunity to miss and so began running my own classes from my gallery space. The business has gone from strength to strength and I have lots of regular students who attend my weekly drawing and painting classes as well as attendees to the weekend workshops which I offer most Saturdays. I also offer painting breaks both here in the UK and in the South of France which are hugely popular.

In 2019 I was chosen to appear on BBC One on the new art TV series 'Home is where the art is' with presenter Nick Knowles which was a fabulous experience. This then led to me pushing my art further afield and striking up a working relationship with the SAA. I have my own watercolour book out now and available to buy from sites including Search Press and Amazon. Loving art of a different kind, I am a black belt and have previously held world champion title in Tae Kwon-Do at hand power - have been British Champion breaking boards and held many more titles from this martial art and Judo
